Its difficult for working mom to finish 250-pages-book. Especially when its not a suamiku-encik-sotong novel.
I finally finished up a book 3 months after I first borrowed this book from my 4th younger bro who bought it because he learn management as his minor. I also borrowed another 2 of the same author that i have determine to read in near future.
But this book really get me inspired. When i stop at a chapter, i spent the later weeks pondering and put into action of whatever i have read in the chapter and earlier chapters as well.
I have at least 1 friend who mentioned the book some 10 years ago. But that was it. I never take my time to at least read one line. But in february this year the one line i read have ignites my courage to read the rest of the book.
What kind of a reader am i? I used to love malay love story novels in school, in univ i read comics, and anything interesting, later when i work i start to like history, autobiography, religious topics, money management (coz i am bad at money budgeting) . and i still read novels but in english which is just by 1 specific author (he wrote excellent law/crime novels). Im this type of reader.
So i woke up at 3am this morning just to finish the remaining 60-70 pages of Rich Dad Poor Dad book by Kiyosaki.
(Money song)
I have never read any book and took time to jot down important points or quotes. This time around I really did it dilligently. Like when i was a post-grad student back in 2003-2005. (Though im no flying color student). I guess i really am inspired and persistent this time around.
Im ready to put whatever ive read into action now, and will start reading Kiyosaki's 2nd book soon. Very soon.
Its amazing. its difficult to find inspiring writer especially when its in relation to 'money-making' topic. Most book writers, do brags a lot in their books. And they usually state the obvious, without any intention to elaborate more. I was looking for a guide of "HOW". How do i start, how do i find it, how can i do it, and more hows...
Ive read "ke mana wang anda" by hajah rohani. This one was helpful for a debt-ridden person like me. It helps me find ways to reduce bad debts. But kiyosakis rdpd hopefully will have me re-born as a new person.
I want freedom
freedom to do and buy whatever i love
freedom by being my own boss
I want freedom.
