why did i sale my ipad1...

and did not buy ipad2?

I have my reason for not wanting one anymore..
My ONLY and ultimate reason is the 'concept' that involves a lot of MYR (malaysian ringgit).
Once u buy an ipad, or any Apple products you actually agreed to commit to 'this' kind of marketing concept. 'This' means, plays around with money.

Even though buying an Apple product is a good investment for yourself, its never a good investment if you have tight budget or maybe COKOT (sarawak malay language) a.k.a stinky when it involves money.

Buying an ipad, was my first step to get to know more of Apple products (not including ipod since they dont cost that much.. less than RM500- in my standard). I didn't know that ipad cannot transfer files with external USB (pen drive, hard disk, etc) without using its own cables. There is no such cables actually.. To do this you need the camera connection cable. There is only ONE port that allows cable connection and makes everything else possible (such as, file transfer, project to LCD projectors or TV or monitors, etc). Try browse Apple website to read more about ipad accessories. Im not willing to spend more money for things that doesnt seem flexible to me. (Of course, Apple have such a brilliant 'selling' ideas to rip more and more money off your wallet). Despite all these, Im actually preparing myself to buy a Mac Book soon, My first preparation is, saving more money of course! Mac Book cost more than RM3000, it's like buying more than 3 netbooks!

Not only hardware cost, good and reliable software do cost some money too! Yes you can do your office works with it. If the virtual keyboard slows you down, buy a dock and a keyboard! There's solution for every problems, its just that it all cost more and more MYR! I'm a government servant, paid less than the cost of one Mac Book, what can i say?!

Now you know why most Malaysian (average people like me) cannot afford to use Apple products..

For Malaysian especially Sibu people.. who are interested to buy Apple.. go buy it online.. Almost everything seems to be a lot more expensive here in Sibu.. Malaysia is one of the not many countries where you can get cheapest Apple price!

holiday nov2011 01

We had an 'explorace' holiday last November 2011. Our flight to Kuala Terengganu (KL transit) was on 25 Nov. Arrived at night, an we went straight to YT Midtown Hotel. A strategically located hotel and I consider it as budget hotel. Paying RM120 for a RM150 sized room! Its definitely not a boutique hotel or spa resort. But cozy enough to rest and sleep. No weird smell or sound. The small pic of my son was on the plane. The Floating Mosque (i think its called Masjid Tunku Zaharah or something like that..), located at Tanjung Ibai. Its rainy day so we decided to just sightseeing from the car (rented car with very good deal!) Then we went to see Masjid Putih, as the local called it. Passing by the White Mosque (Masjid Putih), the driver took us to the Fishery Department Port. A visit only a few lucky people like us could get! The driver is like the president of fishermen's union or something.. So we get to see the real boat and ships used to fish! Its not like we never...
