Trip to Sabah Day 6

Day 6: 4/6/2010
This entry is written Dec5,2010. Ive totally forgotten to complete this Sabah Holiday entries..

So here goes.

Our 6th day of holiday, I planned to spend the whole day in Kota Kinabalu City ONLY.
After breakfast, we went for window shopping.

I noticed this poor person is sitting on a building looking beyond the South China Sea.. poor thing..

 zoomed out..

1st destination is: Plaza Warisan @ Warisan Square
  • Right outside the building is Starbucks.
This is the first time my husband and me hang out at Starbucks. Not the first time for me though, living in Kuala Lumpur & Selangor for over 7 years its impossible not try out this kind of outlet.. Hehehe.. 2 years of marriage, he never wanted to come to this place for a cup of coffee. "Not worth it", he said.

 2nd destination: Asia City.
  • Bought my herbalife stock. Then off to next destination.

3rd destination: Wisma Merdeka
  • Lunch at Restoran Seri Malindo
  • The best restaurant around, recommended by dear friend Mariati.

 4th Destination: Suria Sabah

  • We noticed something 'weird' about the design (Suria Sabah)...
  • It looked like the main building at my work place.. (smaller pic) Dont you think?
  • Both of us bought a pair of slippers to wear, then head off.. To Filipino Night Market, for dinner..
  • But we got stuck here instead...
  • Behind the Suria Sabah Shopping Complex.. Its right across the Jesselton Point. Watching the sunset and relaxing for a few minutes..
Three last destination for the day, is...

5th Destination: Filipino Night Market
  • We ate some RM60+ worthy food. Huhuhu..
  • Doesnt matter... since we ate fresh seafood ONLY!

 5th Destination: Sinsuran Night Market
  • I was really tired then, but my hubby dragged me to this night market..
  • He'd like to buy something for his mom and family, so took him to another night market not so far away.
6th Destination: Kg Air Night Market
  • I was about to turn green.. then i saw glimmers & glitters of pearls and crystal jewellery.. Hehehe...
  • Suddenly my energy boosted and end up spending a few hundred.. Ooops..

So for women out there, be very careful or your spending.. Huwaaa...

Still in my tummy but he started talking about playing soccer with my boy! (that explains why he loved kicking my ribs so much these days..) baby's dad was here last weekend but went back to kuching again yesterday. but no worries, my granny will be around in a week and so will daddy. i cant give u my words, but i will try to update my blogs (read suepreggy.blogspot ) and fb status as soon as the baby i...

holiday nov2011 01

We had an 'explorace' holiday last November 2011. Our flight to Kuala Terengganu (KL transit) was on 25 Nov. Arrived at night, an we went straight to YT Midtown Hotel. A strategically located hotel and I consider it as budget hotel. Paying RM120 for a RM150 sized room! Its definitely not a boutique hotel or spa resort. But cozy enough to rest and sleep. No weird smell or sound. The small pic of my son was on the plane. The Floating Mosque (i think its called Masjid Tunku Zaharah or something like that..), located at Tanjung Ibai. Its rainy day so we decided to just sightseeing from the car (rented car with very good deal!) Then we went to see Masjid Putih, as the local called it. Passing by the White Mosque (Masjid Putih), the driver took us to the Fishery Department Port. A visit only a few lucky people like us could get! The driver is like the president of fishermen's union or something.. So we get to see the real boat and ships used to fish! Its not like we never...
