Oktober 2008: Pulau Pangkor

a continuation to the previous post, The Orient Star.

arriving, we chartered a van as our tour bus. paying RM80 per van for 2 hours tour.. I think the taxi was highly priced, the reason that we chose to pay for the van and share. Yea.. doesnt look classy but, who cares! Haha!

I don't remember the boat ticket price.. sorry! rm6 maybe..

There are few different views from the island; 1) towards the mainland Lumut, 2) boat making, 3) seafood processing, and 4) the Malacca Straits view.

Towards Lumut View

1) To the East of the Island, towards Lumut: not my favourite.. boring view.
2) To the north of Pangkor Town, Boat Making: wow.. i've never seen anything like that. We do have that in Sibu Sarawak. But seriously its not for boat, its shipyard!
3) Also to the north of Pangkor Town, Seafood Processing: The factory of course smells like seafood.. and at the end of our tour, I spent RM163.00 for snacks and processed seafood! I end up dragging a big box with me! Suits you hera!
4) To the west of Pangkor Island, Malacca Straits was a breathtaking view..

Fishing boat making .. Doesnt look like a boat yet.. Ai pakcik sebelah ni kacau betul.. Time org ambik gambo la die nak potong.. ceh.. pakcik, tepi skit...

We also have the chance to go to the Dutch Fort (Kota Belanda) for a reallyyyy quick photography session.. amateur ones of course.. with our digital cam. hehe.

Our second last stop after touring the island, is a beach. Teluk Nipah beach I think. Seems to forgot now.. after 6 months.

around 4pm we went back to the hotel, with boss waiting.. for tea break.. haha!

what's up?? i'm officially 9 months pregnant tomorrow, meanings i'll be down to the labor room anytime from now.. please pray for me & baby's health hopefully we'll do fine (the baby is busy kicking my right rib now, enjoying himself too much these days..*sigh adeh! i guess my ribs somehow looks like good punching/kicking bag to him, huh?). yes, 3 time ultrasound scan by 3 different doctor they all said its a boy. gender doesn't bother me, for my own reason boy seems great for me. but of course my husband is the most overjoyed person for baby boy. Still in my tummy but he started talking about playing soccer with my boy! (that explains why he loved kicking my ribs so much these days..) baby's dad was here last weekend but went back to kuching again yesterday. but no worries, my granny will be around in a week and so will daddy. i cant give u my words, but i will try to update my blogs (read suepreggy.blogspot ) and fb status as soon as the baby i...

holiday nov2011 01

We had an 'explorace' holiday last November 2011. Our flight to Kuala Terengganu (KL transit) was on 25 Nov. Arrived at night, an we went straight to YT Midtown Hotel. A strategically located hotel and I consider it as budget hotel. Paying RM120 for a RM150 sized room! Its definitely not a boutique hotel or spa resort. But cozy enough to rest and sleep. No weird smell or sound. The small pic of my son was on the plane. The Floating Mosque (i think its called Masjid Tunku Zaharah or something like that..), located at Tanjung Ibai. Its rainy day so we decided to just sightseeing from the car (rented car with very good deal!) Then we went to see Masjid Putih, as the local called it. Passing by the White Mosque (Masjid Putih), the driver took us to the Fishery Department Port. A visit only a few lucky people like us could get! The driver is like the president of fishermen's union or something.. So we get to see the real boat and ships used to fish! Its not like we never...
