Oktober 2008: The Orient Star Resort, Lumut, Perak

Gambar-gambar ni semua dah lama disimpan dalam laptop. Kalaulah gambar-gambar ni macam makanan, dah tumbuh kulat ngan cendawan lama dah!

Nak ambik la kesempatan, disebabkan TV kat rumah pun dah rosak dekat seminggu.. Koleksi CD/DVD kat rumah pun dah abis aku tengok... (Mangsa penjajahan teknologi).

This hotel isnt far away from the town. It's on the way to the TLDM Lumut camp. Ikut hala TLDM, bila lepas roundabout, baru nak naik sikit je kat bukit tu jumpa la hotel ni belah kanan..

Was there, at Orient Star Resort October 2008 to attend a meeting.

As for the room rates, I'm not sure since everything was paid by the BIG "G" BOSS. View from the room was just nice (compared to my stay at Terengganu recently), but it was really comfortable. Waking up in the morning hearing the sound of waves.. ah..

Beach condition, was however just okay. Looking at the sea water quality, I don't think anyone have the mood to swim.. Swimming pool looks better though...

There is one restaurant and one cafe. Though in the web said, the restaurant can accomodate 800 people well I don't think so. Perhaps 200 is okay, sebab takkan nak bersesak-sesak masa makan kan??? Senggol-senggolan pulak nanti.. susah beb! (oops.. sorry!). One thing nice is that they even have seats at the swimming pool area. The cafe, most of the time is empty. I think there's "WiFi Area" sign there, but nobody seemed to care about that.. Not sure why.. In the web says the cafe can accomodate 80 people. What's with the 8 anyway? Does it really bring 'ong'??? Coz in this hotels case, I don't think so! I think the cafe can accom. up to 20 people only. Not enough table and chairs, dark (maybe mosquito's heaven), and no live band!! Tadaa! (In this case, I think same goes to Gem Beach Resort. Well, at least the beach looks wonderful there!)

After few days in Lumut, me and friends went to Pulau Pangkor. This is a personal record breaking event! It's my second time touring an island other that Pulau Pinang (Penang)..

So that morning, office hours.. we went to Lumut Jetty (20 minutes walking from the hotel). This picture was taken the day before..

So after some tapau shopping, afraid that we might be hungry during the 20 minutes journey (Duh!).. then we buy our tickets and go find the boat..

What happen in Pulau Pangkor will be in another blog.. to be continued...

Pic blogging?

Dah lama la sangat tak post apa2. Bersawang dah blog. Tu yg blog pun mcm rumah puaka tak de penghuni.. masuk keluar masuk keluar tak update apa2 pun... Jadi aku buat keputusan nak buat mcm micro-blogging.. tapi pakai gambar dan sedikit caption.. Ini dia gambar pertama. .............. Terkejut tadi tengok apa benda yg melekat kat cermin penumpang belah belakang kereta. Bila tgk dalam, rupanya anak aku punya kerja. Semalam dpt sticker, dia bantai lekat kat dlm kereta.. tergelak sorang bila teringat. Anak aku yg sorang je tu dah 4thn umurnya. Dah dihantar ke sekolah supaya dia ada kawan bermain.. maklumlah.. anak sorang.. belum ada rezeki anak lagi satu...

June 2008: Tanjong Balau Beach, Desaru, Kota Tinggi, Johor Bahru.

During my stay at JB, I managed to go to Tg Balau Beach, Desaru. From Drop Box If youre driving, than it's cheaper compared to renting a car or something. Its more expensive by taxi. I think it took 2 hours drive, plus LOST since I couldnt remember the road.. dont blame it on me?! the road look different from last time, 2005. From JB to Kota Tinggi takes 1 n 1/2 hours considering all the traffic jam on the way out of the city. Then from Kota Tinggi to Desaru approx. 40 minutes. The road might be tricky, so watch for the word Desaru, then Tg Balau on the signboard coz they will definitely help you. Not much to look at during the drive.. expect for hugeeee palm plantations.. Tg Balau is a masterpiece. Facing the South China Sea, clear water, blue sea, and not too many people like in Desaru beach. The one that im showing you in the pic is on the other side of the beach, you can ask for direction to go to the 'jetty' they call it. Or if they dont understand just tell them '...

confinement, baby blues, moving and so forth..

hi again.. what's up? i'm done with my confinement now almost finished my 90 days maternal leave (less than 30 days) my baby is 2 months 2 weeks, strong legs and neck, better skin reflection, recognize his mom very well now and turn his head when hearing his name called upon. busy planning my move to a new work place, and... head ache thinking about my husband's car (broke down on our way to Sibu last 2 weeks) that's quiet a lot to think about, don't u think so? so, i call it as a gift from god. I was just trying my luck by applying for a place at a new office. I was shocked knowing that my application was approved and it actually turned me blank for a while. There's so much to do! I don't want to hurt my head with so much things to think about yet, so I've decided to just go with the flow... Ramadhan is approaching, Happy Fasting yea! I'll be breastfeeding and fasting for the first time this year. Not sure if I'm capable. Soon will upda...
